Description

SCOREscotland Community Fridge Volunteer required to help us cut food waste, build stronger bonds within the community and redistribute good quality food. The tasks involved are, help us find businesses to donate food to the fridge, collection of food from donors, fridge cleaning and monitoring,
promoting our fridge on social media, organising events and fundraisers to support the fridge and the local community

To advance education, to work towards the elimination of racial prejudice and discrimination, to promote equality of opportunity and to develop harmony, understanding and co-operation between people of different race, colour, national or ethnic origin, culture and religion within the Area of Benefit

Restrictions

Experience required: Willing and enthusiastic to learn new skills and develop. Reliable. Having some experience of community outreach Good communication and interpersonal skills. Friendly and teamwork abilities Have some experience of environmental issues and knowledge of climate change
