This is an exciting opportunity for you to get involved by supporting other fundraising volunteers. We support and arrange a large number of fundraising activities, events and collections across the country. We know everyone is different and will try to tailor the volunteering opportunity to suit you, your time and your skills
As a Red Cross volunteer you can proudly say you are part of the world’s largest humanitarian network.
Typical tasks may include:
Organising collections on behalf of the Red Cross
Supporting with Red Cross week fundraising activity
Arranging your own fundraising activities or events with other volunteers and supporters
Generating interest in your community in what we do and how they can help
Actively supporting or organising support and participation at events, walks, marathons and collections
Support vulnerable people in UK and abroad to prepare, withstand and recover from community and personal crisis. Special services in UK include First Aid training, First Aid at public events and Health & Safety care focused on: Wheelchair loan, transport & escort, skin camouflage, and therapeutic care.
Experience required: Good people management and organisational skills and confidence speaking to others. Someone happy to take initiative and who works well as a team would be very suited to this role.

Taster details: Though a taster session is not available an initial meeting to give you an idea of the role would be the norm.
Training details: You will be introduced to your line manager who will discuss the role with you. We will ask you to complete our British Red Cross Foundation Course e-learning.
