The role of the Workshop Coordinator is to promote the workshop space to its full potential through word of mouth/contacts, other organisations, voluntary and non-voluntary and social media. Good organisational skills and good communication are an advantage.
The other important aspect to this is to research, apply for and follow up any funding and grants. An interest in the arts if preferable but not essential.
Dundee Design Project CIC was established to promote the work of talented local artists, writers and makers through showcasing and selling their work in the Wellgate Shop. We have additional workshop space where we can facilitate workshops for promoting the arts to a wider audience, concentrating on the recycling and reuse of materials.
