Description

We require someone who has an interest in the arts with good organisational skills. The main role of this job is to recruit, motivate, train and coordinate the team members who will be woking in the shop so the ability to communicate and organise staff rotas is essential.

Organisation aims and objectives

Dundee Design Project CIC was established to promote the work of talented local artists, writers and makers through showcasing and selling their work in the Wellgate Shop. We have additional workshop space where we can facilitate workshops for promoting the arts to a wider audience, concentrating on the recycling and reuse of materials.

Minimum of 1 day a week which can be spread out over several days. The opportunity is for a permanent commitment.

Restrictions

Experience required: Good organisational skills, the ability to communicate effectively and an interest in the arts.
Travel details: Bus stops nearby in Seagate and Wellgate Steps. Fares will be reimbursed.
