We are looking for enthusiastic people to join our volunteer fundraising collections group.

We will be holding fundraising collections at various venues across Edinburgh this year and we are looking for volunteers to help out by:

  • Holding buckets to collect donations
  • Handing out leaflets and stickers to the general public

Even an hour or two of your time would be fantastic!

Organisation aims and objectives

Health in Mind promotes positive mental health and wellbeing in Scotland. Our team of professional support staff and committed volunteers work in partnership to deliver a unique and wide ranging mix of individual and group support services in Edinburgh, Midlothian / East Lothian and the Borders. In particular it seeks : To provide and enable the provision of Mental Health Services. To provide information on and understanding of all aspects of mental health. To influence mental health policies and campaign for mental health resources. To achieve its aims and objectives through consultation with all interested parties.

Frequency and commitment details

One off, just an hour or two of your time would be fantastic


Experience required: No previous experience required, just enthusiam and a passion for helping support Mental Health.
Travel details: Travel to venues across Edinburgh and the Lothians. All venues are accessible by public transport.
Minimum age: 18


Expenses paid: Yes
Expenses details: We can cover all travel expenses to the cost of a Lothian Bus fare.
Training details: We can meet with you before hand to go through this volunteer role and give you more information about Health In Mind.
