We are looking for volunteers to open and close the Museum. Part of their role will be to welcome visitors to the Museum and be available to answer any queries that they may have.
Volunteers will work in pairs and cover either 10:30 -1:30 or 1:30 - 4:30. The Museum needs to be opened before the times specified.
The Museum is open from April to September it is open every day except Wednesdays and Sunday Mornings.
This is an interesting opportunity, it gives individuals a chance to meet new people where they live or a wide range of people visiting the area. It will also give individuals the opportunity to pursue or renew an interest in history and heritage.
Even though the Museum is not fully accessible we feel it should discourage applicants who are interested in this role as we can be flexible.
