We provide people in your community with wheelchairs on a short-term basis.Our Customer Service volunteers use their people and administration skills to serve the public who require a wheelchair or other mobility equipment.Your time will help people in the communitystay independent by accessing a wheelchair.
Activities include:
-Issuing and receiving wheelchairs(or other mobility aids) using a computer based stock control system.
-Demonstrating how to use and look after our wheelchairs(and other requierements)
-Dealing with enquiries from people wanting to borrow a wheelchair(or other equipment) by telephone, face to face and online.

Training details: We provide a short(2.5 hours) e-module which should be completed within two weeks of being accepted for the role. We also provide a two-day Foundation Programme (FTP) to provide the skills, knowledge and confidence to be able to carry out the role safely and effectively
