We all need to stay at home to protect ourselves and others. However, those who are well and not at risk can provide essential support for their family, friends and neighbours who cannot leave the house.

Description

At the Active Travel Hub Ayr we're passionate about active travel through walking and cycling and its wider reaching benefits. We're working to make our communities healthier by changing travel habits and encouraging people to be more active. One of the key ways we're doing this is by taking part in events and activities aimed at developing partnerships that work to promote active travel in South Ayrshire.

Arranging, setting up and running information stands - with the aim of promoting sustainable and active travel and enabling people to give it a try.

Looking out for suitable local events to attend and reporting these back to Hub staff, collecting and returning the event kit to/from Hub and being able to monitor numbers attended etc will also be part of this role.
