Description

We are looking for a volunteer to accompany a young woman we support to a weekly ten pin bowling session. Departing from Cosgrove Care head office at 12 noon to join others within the bowling group at Hollywood Bowl at the Quay, Glasgow. The weekly outing will include a visit with the group to a nearby burger restaurant at the Quay. Finish time at the bowling will be around 2.30 pm to get back to Cosgrove head office for 3 pm.

Travel details: Cosgrove Care head office, G46 6LD is the meeting point and then onto Hollywood Bowl, Springfield Quay, Glasgow G5 8NP. Cosgrove Care head office is close to Giffnock train station and Fenwick Road, where you can get the no. 38 bus.

Training details: Volunteer online training in safeguarding and equality and diversity. Online befriender training covering all important aspects of volunteer befriending. One day autism awareness training. On-going support will be provided for this volunteering role. You will receive an induction and you will be insured during your volunteering activity
