We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join a local community Fundraising Group.

Do you want to be part of a friendly and energetic team? Could you help organise events and activities? These could include store collections, bucket shakes, pub quizzes, raffles, tea parties, or anything else you think would be a fun way to fundraise in your community. Our Fundraising volunteers will play a crucial role in ensuring the future work of PCHP.

Organisation aims and objectives

To alleviate the high levels of stress experienced by local people. To identify, tackle and improve the life circumstances that underlie poor health. To ensure local equity of access to health related services, resources and information.










4 hours per month for 3 months.


Experience required: Friendly non-judgemental approach to working with people Strong team player Available to volunteer on a regular basis (hours can be negotiated) Maintain contact with the lead Fundraiser at PCHP
Travel details: Group meetings with be held in our community centre 73 Boswall Parkway, EH5 2PW; there are excellent bus links to the centre (no. 8, 14, 16, 19, and 200). Fundraising events will take place across Edinburgh and travel information will be provided accordingly.

Expenses paid: Yes
Expenses details: Public transport expsenses or taxis where needed due to access issues will be reimbursed through an exspense form. The forms can be emailed or handed in person to the charity, on receipt of the exspense forms we will process repayments.
Training details: Volunteers will meet with the lead fundrasier at Pilton Community Health Project to learn about the fundraising code of conduct and legal terms of community fundraising. Guidance and skills development on fundraising will be provided as well as ongoing support for inividual projects.
