Minibus Driver

  • VO78516

Young Enterprise Scotland is looking for a number of volunteers to drive our minibus during the coming academic year. We are looking for responsible and committed individuals to drive the minibus at least one day a week. This will involve collecting small groups of young people from their school and bringing them to our site in Rouken Glen Park in the morning, after registration, and taking them back to school in the afternoon, before the end of the school day. We would also need the volunteer to be available during the day between picking the young people up and dropping them off.

Organisation aims and objectives

Our vision is that all young people will have the opportunity to gain personal experience of how business works, understand the role it plays in providing employment and creating prosperity, and be inspired to improve their own prospects, and the competitiveness of Scotland. YES provides almost 7,000 young people each year, regardless of location, circumstances, curriculum choice, career plans or academic strength, the opportunity to be enterprising and to understand how business works.

Rouken Glen Park Volunteers must drive at least 1 day a week.

Volunteers will need a PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) certificate and Young Enterprise Scotland will help volunteers through the application process if necessary
