Want to get involved in helping our service develop into an independent charity?

Want to make sure survivors of sexual violence in Moray get access to the support they need?

We need you.

The recruitment of a Board of Trustees will play a critical role in ensuring the development and future growth of the service to meet the needs of the Moray population, and to work to improve service and societal responses to survivors of sexual violence.

Initially as a shadow Trustee you will be volunteers of Rape Crisis Scotland and will receive induction and ongoing training and support to enable you to undertake this role. As a Trustee you will contribute to the development of the independent SCIO charitable organisation, and then oversee the governance of the organisation including attending board meetings and the AGM.

We will receive all reasonable expenses, a comprehensive training and support programme and the knowledge that you have helped to support survivors with their experiences of sexual violence as adults and/or as children.

If you want to come and find out more about the project and what is involved please come along. There will be a presentation about the work we do and the role of Trustees. There will lots of opportunity for questions, as well as refreshments and an opportunity to talk informally.
