The Youth Radio Network is an online digital platform for young people ages 13 - 25 years old. Our vision is to teach, empower and entertain young people through the power of music and digital technology. This is an exciting opportunity to join us as we build our digital radio station which is directed and run by young people. We have an ambitious programme that aims to make a difference to communities across the UK by helping young people to develop their skills, interests and employability.
We are looking to appoint a volunteer Events Co-Ordinator to help build our organisation to the next level including the getting us in at local and national Gala-days and Festivals helping us to get our brand out there.










Frequency and commitment details

3 hours a week plus 10 event days per year


Home-based, however, must be will to travel. A full UK driving license would be prefered but not essential.
Experience required: A record of working within a team brought to a successful outcome A passion and/or knowledge of event planning and coordinating Experience of getting organisations space events Have skills in planning, organisation and creativity A passion for the youth of today
Travel details: Home-based, however, will travel to and from events. We will cover the expenses.

Expenses details: The Youth Radio Network values its volunteers and we want to ensure that there are no barriers to volunteer involvement. All reasonable out-of-pocket expenses incurred in the course of a volunteer’s role will be reimbursed, including expenses for travel. In order to claim expenses, an expenses form must be completed and handed into the volunteer coordinator or your Key Contact. This process will also be explained during the induction process.
