House Digital Support Volunteer

Description

You’ll be a member of the House Team making sure the home and all of its features are accessible and available to families whenever they need. You will test our digital machines to make sure they are in good working order. You’ll be responsible for setting up any new machines/devices and making sure any updates are completed
This might mean installing the latest version of play station, or tuning a television and everything in between. Please rest assured that CLIC Sargent are adhering to Covid-19 safety guidelines.

Restrictions

Experience required: You’ll have excellent technical and digital skills. You’ll have an eagerness for problem solving and perseverance with the trickiest of technology. You’ll have an understanding of the impact of cancer on family life and a sensitivity to the situation our families find themselves in. Good communicator
Travel details: Hatton Place, Edinburgh
Minimum age: 18

Support

Expenses paid: Yes
Expenses details: The volunteer will complete a claim form and provide receipts and will be reimbursed into their bank account.
Training details: A full induction to CLIC Sargent and the Home from Home for families when their child is going through cancer treatment.
