This is a new and exciting development for FABB Scotland, working with Youth Scotland, we are recruiting volunteers who will be trained to assess and advise on the delivery of Youth Scotland’s SQA accredited Dynamic Youth and Youth Achievement Awards. As an Operating Agency, FABB will be developing this area of work at the Trossachs Tryst, Callander, with some work at Edinburgh. We are offering assessment of these awards to groups who book residentials and activity programmes.. Before completing the Youth Scotland training you will be asked to commit to a regular mid-weekly or evening or monthly weekend programme to enable you to assess young people participating in this area of FABB’s work.
The objects for whicih the comapny is established and the aims and objectives of the Company are: -To empower disabled people to actively engage in the social, leisure and educational activities of their choice. -To encourage the inclusion of disabled people residing in the area of Scotland through the provision of specific programmes and projects or facilitating access to mainstream leisure provision -To increase awareness of barriers to disabled people's participation through the provision of activity specific training and the inclusion of disability awareness in existing training programmes. -To further the inclusion of disabled people into society and to promote the work of organisations which provide membersip on an equal basis for disabled and non-disabled people.
Experience required: All we ask is that you have great people and communication skills and are willing to learn by taking part in the development and growth of our fun and exciting services.
