Description

Hawick in Bloom have a successful record in the Floral Gateway Competition with a range of beds, planters and hanging baskets in their care volunteers contribute greatly to the maintenance of a colourful floral presence in the town designed to enhance Hawick’s reputation as Queen ‘o a’ the Border.

Volunteers are needed to care on a regular basis or as occasional holiday cover for the watering and general maintenance of our range of flower beds, planters and hanging baskets.

Experience required: No experience is necessary as guidance can be provided by our existing group of skilled volunteers but new expertise is always very welcome.
