We all need to stay at home to protect ourselves and others. However, those who are well and not at risk can provide essential support for their family, friends and neighbours who cannot leave the house.

Volunteer Gardener

  • VO75599

The role of the Volunteer Gardener is to maintain the garden around the CAB offices making it an inviting place to come into.
Citizen's Advice understand that everyone can, at some point in their life, face problems that seem complicated or intimidating. At Denny CAB we believe no one should have to face these problems without good quality, independent advice. That’s why we’re here: to give people the knowledge and the confidence they need to find their way forward - whoever they are, and whatever their problem.
Duties carried out by the Volunteer Gardeners are: grass cutting, maintaining the planter tubs, creating bug hotels and other small wildlife attractions as well as general tidy up and maintenance.

This is a very flexible opportunity and is more down to the volunteer's availability.
