  • VO75416

Description

Oxfam aims to overcome poverty and suffering world-wide. The money raised in the shops funds projects both for emergency provision and development programmes.
Clothing Volunteers enjoy interacting with the local community and helping others. It is a great way to make new friends and be part of a team.
There are various opportunities throughout the year to hear the results of what happens to the money made which is very motivational. There are also lots of opportunities to discuss and share opinions.
The position can also provide work experience and a reference for those in between jobs or looking for a change to the retailing environment. Volunteering can also lead to paid positions when vacancies arise.
