Dementia Café Volunteer

  • VO75249

Description

Dementia cafés are places where people living with dementia and their carers can come together to socialise, get support, share information and take part in a range of fun and stimulating activities.

We are looking for volunteers to help run the cafe, making cups of tea, serving cakes, making all centre users feel welcomed and to support people in the workshops. Volunteers help people with dementia feel part of their community and support them to do the things they enjoy.

Currently our dementia café runs on a Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. with other workshops through the week at evenings and some at weekends (art, dance etc)
