Volunteers are a crucial part of The Countrymen’s Club and we would like to hear from anybody that is interested in supporting older people in their community. We are particularly keen to hear from older people who want to support their peers. The Countrymen’s Club is currently recruiting volunteers for the following roles:
People with an interest in the out of doors or farming life, to help run sessions for older men at our working farm in Mulben. If you like farm life, getting your hands dirty and hearing tales of how things used to be done then this is for you!
PVG will be required but we can do that free of charge through the charity.
Each session will last one hour and volunteers will need to be on site for approximately two hours
