Description

The Happiness Station provides an opportunity for attendees to be part of the Wellbeing Show broadcast live on Stirling City Radio every Wednesday from 6-8pm. The Volunteer Co-ordinator will have primary responsibility for the set-up of the group and be the radio show’s main contact. During the time when the show is being broadcast the volunteers will also encourage attendees to request songs, contribute their views and meet the show’s guests. Their primary role is to help The Happiness Station be a positive, upbeat and engaging place to come. The Co-ordinator will be the main contact for the group and will ensure attendees feel welcome, safe and supported.

Restrictions

We propose that the minimum age is 16, unless the child is accompanied by an adult.
Experience required: Good interpersonal and communication skills – sociable, positive attitude, creative. Good organizational skills Trustworthy, reliable, dedicated, patient Experience of working with disadvantaged groups is desirable.

Taster details: Volunteer can come for a taster any Wednesday between 5.30 – 7pm in March
Training details: Volunteer to undertake training primarily with SVE. Stirling City Radio will also provide some basic training to complement this.
