Organisation aims and objectives

FetLor Youth Club provides a safe environment for young people ages 7-17 from across north Edinburgh. They can receive support and gain life skills through taking part in a range of activities and opportunities offered at the club.

We ask our volunteers to support us for a minimum of around 3 hours a week, the equivalent of one youth club. We ask for a commitment of at least one school term (Sept-Dec/Jan-Apr/Apr-Jun) to ensure continuity for young people and hope many of our volunteers will want to build long term relationships. Hours can be flexible, Clubs run from 1530-2030. We would ask for a commitment of one school term to ensure continuity for young people.

Experience required: We are looking for people who enjoy interacting with young people and want to make a positive difference to their lives. We prefer volunteers who have experience working with young people. Ideally volunteers have a particular skill or interest they would like to share as part of our programme.
