Description

Frontline Fife is an independent charity aiming to end homelessness by offering a number of services across Fife. We are able to help people make a difference in their lives by supporting them towards independent and sustainable living.
Here is an opportunity to make a difference and utilise your skills and expertise to benefit the local community and those facing very challenging circumstances in life.

We are currently seeking trustees with specific skills, knowledge and expertise in at least one of the following - the law, in health & social care and in research project management.

Organisation aims and objectives

Frontline Fife work with people experiencing housing difficulty or facing homelessness, connecting them with specialist help, advice and information to enable them to resolve issues and stabilise their current situation. We believe everyone should have access to decent, affordable housing options in an areas that suits their economic needs.

Experience required: Knowledge, experience and expertise in any of these sectors would be beneficial – legal and “health & social care”
Travel details: Kirkcaldy but currently meeting online due to COVID restrictions
Minimum age: 16

Support

Taster available: Yes
Taster details: Attending a Board meeting prior to the Board decision on electing a new trustee.
Training details: Meeting with CEO, copies of induction paperwork – policies, info on the organisation, meeting with Chair, opportunities of governance training, along with the CPD that is organised for all Trustees, as & when required.
