  • VO74143

Description

Food Facts Friends in partnership with MARC are opening a new foodbank at 10 Woodburn Road Dalkeith on the 18th of March 2019.We require volunteers to help compile food parcels to a clients shopping list. The work will consist of selecting items from our stock shelves, plus fresh items when available, ensuring food items are within their use by dates. Work also includes marking up received items donated by individuals and organisations before restocking shelves. Cleaning and tidying up the venue at the end of the day. Providing tea, coffee and light refreshments to those waiting for their shopping to be completed.

Organisation aims and objectives
