Volunteer Tea Dance Support Worker

Description

We are looking for people who are organised to help prepare, serve and clear up before, during and after the tea dance. The tea dance is aimed at the elderly who come along for an afternoon to listen or dance to the music. Help is needed to prepare sandwiches, quiche, cake, teas and coffee set up tables and clear away and wash up. Talking with people and welcoming is also a big part of what we do.

12-4 (4) hours per week on a Wednesday afternoon.

Restrictions

Experience required: No experience required as training will be given although someone who is organised and can work on their own initiative is desirable. The person must be comfortable around older people and those with mental health difficulties.
