We are looking for enthusiastic and friendly volunteers to help us raise money and awareness for Marie Curie by hosting cash collections throughout the year including during the Great Daffodil Appeal, where you will be encouraging your local community to donate and wear a daffodil during February/March.
Your role would be the main point of contact on the day for our volunteer collectors providing a warm welcome and supplying materials. Collections take place at shopping centres, supermarkets, high streets and football matches. You will find the public to be extremely generous and our volunteer collectors very supportive.

Organisation aims and objectives

Marie Curie Cancer Care provides nursing care to around half of all cancer patients who die at home & specialist care at its ten hospices across the UK. We are dedicated to the care of those affected by cancer and the enhancement of their quality of life through our caring services, through research & education. We provide care for today and hope for tomorrow.


Minimum age is 16, driving would be an advantage
Experience required: Good knowledge of the area Outgoing and friendly Good communication skills Ability to raise to maintain records and good numeracy and accuracy
