Home Start Clackmannanshire have been supporting families throughout our communities since 1988 through a combination of home visiting, group support, play sessions and parenting workshops. We recognise that being a parent, wherever you live and whatever your circumstances isn't always easy. Our aim at Home Start Clackmannanshire is to help families achieve strong foundations for a healthy and happy future.

Home-Start Clackmannanshire has recently opened a charity shop on Alloa high-street, selling various donated items, from children's wear, to house hold items, and books. The shop is currently looking for volunteers to assist in the shop, to help with tasks such as:

  • sorting through donations
  • replenishing stock on the shop floor
  • serving customers
  • operating the till

This opportunity is flexible with regards to timings during the opening hours of the shop (10am to 4pm Tuesday to Saturday).

To carry out this role we are looking for people who are friendly, approachable, and willing to learn.
