Reachout is an innovative and inclusive award winning charity with 25 years experience of delivering creative opportunities, education and wellbeing to local communities aged 16 – 80 years experiencing life's challenges, mental ill health and disability.

Using expressive arts as the vehicle; the service delivery model promotes informed wellbeing choices and mental health awareness to maintain wellbeing and prevent relapse.
Reachout is introducing Membership Fees commencing 3rd January 2019. The role of volunteer receptionist is to provide Front of House, a welcoming first point of contact with all members, support workers, partners and friends of Reachout. The receptionist will greet all participants to Reachout signing them in to the organisation registering individuals as fully paid members, daily fee members, visitor, support worker, partner etc. whilst adhering to Reachout policies and procedures to ensure security and confidentiality within the organisation. The receptionist will report to Reachout Admin Support Worker to ensure all monitoring administration procedures are followed. The role also includes"cash handling" following a process of receiving and giving change for daily entrance to the studio and where applicable receiving workshop and events payments and issuing hand written receipts.
All volunteers undertake and induction within the organisation, full training within the task required and complete a volunteer handbook to record training opportunities, skills development.

To promote mental health through a varity of art forms. reachout is an innovative expressive arts charity who enables participants to increase confidence and self esteem, through participating in creative arts workshops. the organisation is members-led, self managed by members, giving them a sense of ownership and commitment is significant factor in Reachouts success.
