Description

This is a great opportunity for a counselling supervisor to provide supervision to our counsellors working within YAMS charity. They will cover counselling sessions for individuals aged 16 +yrs. Ideal if you require completing hours for your own progress/portfolio.

We require a BACP registered supervising counsellor to provide our counsellors within YAMS supervision on their practice on a 6-8 weekly basis. We are a non-profit charity organisation who is developing counselling sessions for individuals suffering mental health problems aged 16+yrs. We will be expanding to cover people less than 16yrs old however require recruiting to youth counsellors for this.
Ideally the supervisor will be able to cover both, however; an adult supervisor is immediately required.
Our charity provides a drop-in for the people within our local community who suffer from mental health problems, family members; carers and friends. They can access information/signposting and support. We will be providing counselling and alternative therapies as part of our service. At present we will be starting with two adult BACP registered counsellors, who will be insured through YAMS and individually for the service they provide. We can purchase insurance for anyone supervising if required.
