Description

Contribute to the maintenance of a professional and welcoming environment of Headway Borders Group and continue in providing the vital support needed for those with brain injury, their families and carers.

Tasks:
To arrange refreshments for the group.
Setting up and clearing away for the group.
Arrange activities for the group and source materials.
To distribute literature from Headway UK to members including competitions and information.
Liaise with other volunteers to produce quarterly newsletter.

Organisation aims and objectives

To promote understanding of all aspects of brain injury and to provide information, support and services to people with a brain injury, their families and carers.

Frequency and commitment details

8 hours per month.Days and times to be confirmed.

Restrictions

Experience required: No experience required, just dedication and enthusiasm.
Travel details: Focus Centre, Galashiels.
Minimum age: 18

Support

Training details: Committee and Network Coordinator will assist with initial training. Brain injury training is offered through Headway UK.
