The Market Place Community Group Facilitator

  • VO73090

Description

The Market Place is a community space used by individuals, groups and organisations. This opportunity involves helping to organise, run and advertise any of our community groups depending on the skills you wish to share or develop. This role involves helping to plan the groups, together with staff and other volunteers, talking with members of the group about what they would like. Most groups are weekly. Facilitating a group involves welcoming everyone, making teas/coffees, ensuring everyone is joining in and sharing your skills and knowledge. This role may also involve helping to distribute leaflets in order to promote the groups and keeping records of who attends
