Description

Volunteers are required to help support individuals who struggle with computer use by utilising your skills to help clients apply and complete online job applications, help support job searches and help support service users in using their Universal Credit account.

Volunteers use the resource centres computerised systems to help improve clients' knowledge of various services, help train individuals throughout different services to meet the Hub aims, help individuals in the community improve their employment and/or training prospects, and advise individuals on the benefits of joining a credit union and on basic budgeting skills.

Restrictions

Volunteers must be 21yrs or over. References will be required.
Experience required: Excellent I.T knowledge and computing skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; warm, friendly and understanding manner; non-judgemental and have patience.

Minimum age: 21

Support

Expenses details: NO expenses are reimbursed.
Training details: Volunteers will be given an induction and offered the chance to ask for any support/training they feel is relevant to the role.
