  • VO71806

Volunteering with us is easy, fun and flexible – how much time you give is completely up to you. Whether you help out once a fortnight, month or a few hours every quarter, there’s a role you can play. We are looking for business advisors and assistants to help ensure the smooth running of our 14 amazing Scout groups across the Scottish Borders.

Do you have leadership skills, are you a good communicator or perhaps you are handy with IT? We’re looking for a variety of team players who can help with everything from providing direction and chairing meetings to minute taking, record keeping and the completion of financial reports. Your contribution, no matter how large or small, could help your local Scout group offer even more incredible opportunities.

No Scouting experience is required as full training is given. You’ll learn lots of new skills as well as sharing many of your own. Teamwork is at the heart of everything we do, and by facing new experiences as part of a team you’ll make friends for life. Whatever your background, you’ll be made to feel welcome and supported in Scouts.

Contact us now and do something amazing. Find out how your skills and interests could make a valuable difference to young people’s lives as a volunteer with Scottish Borders Scouts.
