Volunteer Driver

Give back to your community by helping people in need reach vital appointments and important social gatherings, all by giving the greatest gift of all - your time.

The BCTS is a partnership of local community transport providers; Berwickshire, Gala, Teviot & Tweed Wheels organisations with help and support from the Royal Voluntary Service.

We provide transport to people who don't have access to public transport or a car throughout the Scottish Borders.

We aim to offer an affordable and accessible alternative in order that people can maintain their independence for as long as possible.
We help our clients to attend many different types of appointments from Asda to the Western General.

As our drivers may be the only people our clients see all day a friendly personality is a must, not to mention a full driving licence.
We have many different vehicles in our fleet which we will use first but if you are happy to use your own vehicle to provide extra flexibility then please let us know by calling us on 0300 456 1985 or sending us an email to borderscommunitytransporthub@gmail.com

If you are unable to volunteer by driving then please share this to reach as many people as possible and follow us on Twitter and Facebook @Borders_CT.

Thanks for your continued help and support
