We all need to stay at home to protect ourselves and others. However, those who are well and not at risk can provide essential support for their family, friends and neighbours who cannot leave the house.

Retail Assistants

Description

We recently opened the Community Shop on Lochee High Street and are looking for motivated and friendly people to help in all aspects within the shop. The role will involve sorting stock, pricing items, dealing with customers and any other work associated within the shop. Training on all aspects of this will be given.

We also have opportunities for volunteers who perhaps do not want to work in the shop but would rather carry out some textile sorting or upcycling - we have storage in the old Levi's factory where all of our donations are sorted before being taken to the shop.

Organisation aims and objectives

To promote physical, mental and social wellbeing to the communities of Dundee City. The group will also apply for funding from external bodies and to raise funds when appropriate
