Description

Apex Alloa is part of Apex Scotland. We assist people with long term barriers to employment to get back into work. We have over 25 years experience in working with people with criminal convictions or at risk of committing offences to give them the necessary skills to change their behaviour and lead fulfilling lives. Apex Scotland’s work is about reducing re-offending, promoting desistance, tackling deprivation and making communities safer. In all that we do, we make best use of our resources to bring lasting value to individuals and society.

This role is to assist our local centre coordinator with office tasks. This could include such things as:

  • answering the telephone
  • inputting information to certain on-line forms
  • paperwork filing

To carry out this role, it would be useful to have some computer literacy, however, full training will be provided. It is also important you have a nice pleasant phone manner. To start with, it would be useful if you were available whist the centre coordinator is in the office to allow for training - this is on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 9am to 5pm (you do not need to commit to a full day).

Organisation aims and objectives

We are the specialist organisation that for over 25 years has contributed to a safer Scotland by working with ex-offenders and young people and adults at risk to give them the necessary skills to change their behaviour and lead fulfilling lives.
