Clydesdale Housing Association are looking for new Committee Members to help lead and direct their registered social landlord of 738 affordable rented homes across rural South Lanarkshire and the Clyde Valley.

We need new Committee Members who have a range of skills and personal qualities who will strengthen leadership in achieving the best we can for tenants and other service users. The Association would welcome interest from individuals with a commitment to our objectives and who have appropriate skills, but in particular would welcome applications from people from a financial background. We would also be keen to hear from people who have experience and interests in a voluntary office bearer role.










8 hours per month. (6:30pm - 8:30pm)


Volunteers must be 16yrs or over.
Experience required: Volunteers must be able to handle complex information and make decisions, have a strategic approach and question and debate constructively. Must be able to express opinions, negotiate, co-operate and compromise, be a positive ambassador and listen, understand and respect others points of view as well as take, seek and act on advice.

Expenses paid: Yes
Expenses details: Travelling and carer/childcare expenses can be paid in arrears or in advance and payments can be made via BACS or in cash.
Training details: Induction to Housing Associations training over the first 5 months, followed up with an individual learning needs assessment and targeted training. Volunteers will also be offered a 'Buddy' to help support them if required.
