Fundraising Mentor

Description

Our volunteers are carefully matched with Sported member clubs within their locality, who they then support on a one-to-one basis to help them to attract investment into their organisation.
Sported supports groups who are utilising sport to bring about real social difference throughout the UK so volunteers will be paired with a group that are doing really inspiring work. These groups are doing incredible work but require some guidance around fundraising in order to make them more sustainable and increase their capacity.
If you have over 5 years experience in a range of fundraising, then Sported would love to hear from you. This is a great opportunity to make a lasting impact on a community group in your area. If you enjoy working with people and have a desire to make a difference then please get in touch.

Organisation aims and objectives

Sported is a leading Sport for Change charity, helping to transform the lives of disadvantaged young people across the UK. We’re a membership organisation, working with over 3000 amazing community groups and organisations that are using the power of sport to tackle the root causes of some of society’s biggest problems, and giving disadvantaged young people the opportunities to succeed in life. We support the inspirational local heroes and heroines that run these clubs by providing free business and financial support so that they have the skills, knowledge and resources to continue their amazing work. We have a network of volunteer business mentors who work with our members on a one-to-one basis, providing expert consultancy on a range of business issues.
