We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to inspire the people of Aberdeen about Greyhope Bay and our plans for a new marine experience centre that will connect the city to our marine world!
As part of this we are seeking a tactical Social Media Marketing Officer(s) to come and join our close-knit team and help get the word out about Greyhope Bay and our exciting plans for Aberdeen.
This role will involve:
*implementing online and offline marketing campaigns that drive engagement with Greyhope Bay across our social media channels.
*Manage social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, MailChimp and Instagram) for marketing Greyhope Bay activity, fundraiser and events.
Greyhope Bay has bold and exciting plans to deliver a new, world class visitor and marine education centre for Aberdeen, creating a unique platform to view the city’s most charismatic visitors – dolphins! Dolphins are regularly spotted at the site we have identified making it one of the best places in Europe to see dolphins from the shore. Built at Greyhope Bay, the centre will aspire to be transformational for Aberdeen, a signature project that will act as a catalyst to establish the city as an international tourist destination promoting its unique coastal location, exciting marine wildlife and status as an international hub for marine research.
Experience required: You’ll have good editorial skills, lots of creative ideas and be passionate about Greyhope Bay.
