Friends of Overtoun Park host a range of family fun days to help encourage people to use the park more and to bring the community together. The park has hosted events such as Sport in the Park, Easter Eggstravaganza, Strutt the Mutt, Spookey Part and Perk up the Park. Volunteers are needed to join the fun in helping to set-up for events and help run them. This will include putting up gazebos, manning a stall, registering visitors, being involved in arts & crafts as well as helping with bouncy castles and picture hunts. If you enjoy meeting people and having a chat and some fun in the park, then this is the volunteering opportunity for you!
Owing to COVID restrictions we are currently focusing on Park tidy up, cutting back of bushes and general gardening activities. We are still welcoming volunteers to come along and get involved
