Description

Volunteer Retail assistant required to assist in all aspects of stock processing within our thriving community shop. This will include assessing donations, sorting various toys, clothing & equipment & as appropriate, light cleaning, preparation & presentation. Ensuring the shop is well presented at all times, is clean, tidy & offers a pleasant retail experience. To deliver excellent customer service.

• We work to reduce the impacts of poverty on children & their families in our local area. We facilitate support from the wider community, via health & social care professionals to families in need.
• We host a variety of subsidised sessions for families to promote the family bond & to encourage the gathering & cooperation of our communities. We are passionately committed to combating the loneliness which affects people of all ages in our community.
• We provide a social space for parents and families, including advice and information and baby feeding and changing facilities. We support and encourage social networking.
• We advocate and appreciate our volunteers and employees. We endeavour to promote job satisfaction, personal development and advancement.
• We operate Monday – Saturday 10.00am – 4.00pm

Restrictions

Due to the nature of the space we are concerned that our stockroom may be unsuitable for wheelchair users
Experience required: Smart appearance, excellent time keeping, enjoy working in a team but capable of working on initiative, strong communication skills, enjoy working with the public.
Travel details: Within our community shop located at: Unit 32 Stirling Enterprise Park, Players Road, Stirling, FK7 7RP Travelling expenses may be claimed back from the organisation
Minimum age: 16
