Use your own lived experience of living with a personality disorder diagnosis to raise awareness and understanding, challenge stigma and promote positive changes in attitudes and services. The role involves sharing personal experiences of living with personality disorder with groups of participants and helping to facilitate training workshops, aimed at raising awareness of personality disorder. You will need to be willing to share experiences with people from a variety of different backgrounds.

Experience required: The role involves sharing your own experiences of living with personality disorder with groups of participants and helping to facilitate training workshops. You will need good communication skills, lived experience of personality disorder, and be willing to share personal experiences with people from a variety of different backgrounds. A strong sense of commitment and willingness to travel throughout the Lothians are also important. CAPS will provide mentoring and any necessary training
