Veterans Community Support Volunteer

  • VO70563

Description

The service that we offer might take the form of a fortnightly visit for tea and company, or a weekly session to help with a more specific issue, such as supporting the client to fill in forms and access services. Perhaps the client could benefit from more intensive, more frequent support at times, and then be content with just a phone call at other times

Organisation aims and objectives

The Royal British Legion Scotland exists to promote remembrance and comradeship and in a partnership with other ex-Service charities to be responsible for the provision of welfare, benevolence and pension support of ex-Servicemen and women and their dependents throughout Scotland.
