Office Co-Ordinator

We are looking for someone who can take on the responsibility of the day to day running of the office. The tasks included are varied but will include:

Greeting members of the public and aiding their enquiries;
Ensuring requests for fundraising days are processed timeously;
Smooth running of the office and keeping the Trustees informed regularly;
Liaising with other charities and contacts to aid the association;
Attending, if possible, functions to help promote the Association and ensuring we have enough stock.

We also have various fundraisers throughout the year, usually on a Saturday and help at these would appreciated, but not essential. The office also has display cabinets which require updating with item rotation on a regular basis. We also have a small Heritage Centre that needs promoting to the wider community, this would initially fall under the remit of the office co-ordinator.

Organisation aims and objectives

To increase the availability of and facilitate access to information and support services geared to the needs of members of the forces and their families retired from service through injury or trauma.










At present 3-5 hours, 3 days per week (Mon, Wed, Fri) but these dates are flexible with an aim to, eventually, having the office open for a few hours 5 days a week.


Experience required: Good interpersonal skills, a good sense of humour, a good work ethic are all required for this role. An empathic nature to the needs of our clientele is also beneficial. The role will also require use of computers, therefore a good understanding of Microsoft, email and spreadsheets would be desirable.
