The MLOAF is an advisory body to the Moray Council as the Area Access Authority. The Forum has no executive powers but plays an important consultative and consensus building role on outdoor access related matters across Moray.
The Forum has 20 ‘Core’ members with equal representation from 4 peer groups as follows:

•Public agencies
•Landowners/Land Managers
•Community groups
•Access users/activity groups

The Forum meets around four or five times per annum and has when required as a number of sub groups which meet in between the main meetings.

We are looking for a suitable individual who would be available for taking minutes for the minimum of 4/5 meetings. There is also the opportunity to be involved with sub group meetings.










Approx 25hrs minimum per year


Travel details: The main meetings usually take place in Elgin from 4-6pm quarterly. Travel subsistence is available.


Expenses paid: Yes
Taster available: Yes
Taster details: Pre-meeting with Convenor, Vice Convenor and Moray Access Manager. Trial first meeting so volunteer can gauge if they are suited for the position.
Training details: Volunteer would under go the same induction as Forum Members so they were fully aware of the role of MLOAF. Ongoing support and advice would be given via the Convenor and the Moray Access Manager
