This peer mentor role provides mentoring support from people with experience of M.E to people living with M.E or CFS.
The Company is established for the relief of persons suffering from the disease Myalgic Encephalomyelitis ("M.E.", which expression where used in this Memorandum of Association shall include chronic fatigue syndromes and other associated syndromes) and to provide information, advice and support and to promote public education and research into the disease (provided that the useful results of any such research are fully disseminated to the general public).
Must have lived with M.E or cared for someone with M.E for two years. Must be able to be a member of the PVG scheme.
Experience required: Good communication and interpersonal skills plus sensitivity and an ability to accept and work with other people's viewpoint.
Travel details: Volunteers and mentees will meet in a public space such as a cafe, that is convenient to them both.

Training details: Training is offered through reading at home and sessions with other potential volunteers. This will be three two hour sessions.
