Description

Rainbow Muslim Women's group works tirelessly to help vulnerable women and their families out of social isolation. Our youths have been impacted by social isolation due to the barriers their mothers face on a daily basis and barely get a chance to be children and enjoy life.
The groups run with the help of volunteers and without the volunteers we would not be here. We take great pride in looking after our volunteers as they help us to keep our organisation running.
We are currently looking for a Volunteer Youth Worker to support our youth group and interact with the young people, aged between 12-21years. We would require a volunteer who would work closely with the youth to build their confidence and bring some much-needed fun back into their lives, giving them an escapism from the pressures facing them on a day to day basis.

The role will involve helping the young people with activities, fun arts and crafts and providing them with a listening ear. Other activities that may be planned for the group can include crafting activities, cooking/baking sessions, outdoor experiences, sports activities and any other recreational activities. Most of these sessions will be conducted by a professional and the volunteer will be responsible for overseeing these activities, assessing its impact, provide new ideas etc.
