Organisation aims and objectives

In Scotland it is estimated, currently, that there are 90,000 people who have dementia-With almost 50 new cases being diagnosed daily across the country. Alzheimer Scotland is the country’s leading specialist Dementia Charity and works to improve the lives of everyone who is affected by the illness.

Restrictions

Experience required: Friendly outgoing, with good communication skills
Travel details: Alzheimer Scotland are based at 13-19 King Street,Aberdeen
Minimum age: 16

Support

Expenses paid: Yes
Expenses details: Approved out of pocket expenses e.g.: bus fares etc. are re-imbursed to volunteers
Training details: Full training provided and ongoing support from the Co-ordinator.
Support: Named Contact For Volunteer,
Wheelchair Access/Disabled Access Toilet
