We are looking for individuals who are supportive and engaging to help transport our young people to and from sessions throughout Perth and Kinross. A lot of our young people have additional support needs and require structure and consistency in their programmes.
The driver will be responsible for picking up the young person or small groups and transporting to the meeting point for their sessions, then picking up and returning to their home address.
You will meet the young people you will be transporting in advance along with their development worker so that they get to know you in advance.
Travel Expenses will be paid for use of own vehicle.
The Association was set up to advance the mental, physical and spiritual welfare of young people between the ages of 14 and 25 by promoting the scheme of Awards known as The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. In recent years, whilst maintaining the core function of the Association we have focused our activities on provision of support and experiential learning for targeted groups of young people with Additional Support Needs (ASN).
