Description

Help us to promote our service across Scotland, and help people to access advocacy support and have their voices heard.

The Service Team Volunteer role supports a local Team in the delivery of our services. This can include:
• Administrative support
• Helping clients understand the service and how to access it
• Dropping off promotional materials
• Attending events

Restrictions

Travel details: Volunteering hours take place from Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. Volunteers must be able to travel in the local area (meet clients, networking etc). We do not have an office in the local area. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.

Training details: Volunteers receive a mixture of Instructor-Led Training on Microsoft Teams and e-learning modules to complete in their own time. Training is comprehensive and covers topics such as: introduction to VoiceAbility, what is advocacy, boundaries, confidentiality, safeguarding, how to network effectively and more!
